President Donald Trump touched down in Israel on Monday for a whirlwind visit that seems destined to shake up the Middle East. One insider noted that the myriad surprises presented by the president on his first official tour were intentional, meant to bring Israel and the US closer, while returning America to its role as a world superpower....

President Trump spent an historic day, May 22-23, visiting Israel and assuring Israel that the bond between Israel and the United States was unbreakable. He performed historic firsts by 1) Flying from Riyad, Saudi Arabia to Tel-Aviv, Israel breaking through a political barrier of non-travel between the two states. 2) The first president of the United States to visit Israel on his first foreign trip outside the United States. 3) The first president to visit and pray at the Kotel (Western Wall on the Temple Mount). By praying at the Kotel President Trump was in essence recognizing that the Wall and by extension the Temple Mount and Jerusalem belong to Israel and the Jews.
What does this mean for the End-Times? As we come closer to the full recognition of the sovereignty of Israel regarding Jerusalem and the Temple Mount the closer we come to Israel rebuilding the 3rd Temple. Once the 3rd Temple is rebuilt a major Last Days “sign” will be fulfilled. Also, on this visit Trump has reopened up the possibility of negotiations for peace in the region.
