As our Savior He is our High Priest, Good Shepherd, Bridegroom and Eldest Brother. He is the Head of His family as we are His body, children, flock of sheep, bride and joint heirs.
As King He is our Lord, Master, Commander-in-Chief, Chief Apostle, and Bishop that will rule His Kingdom with justice and might as He leads and instructs His church to govern, legislate and manage His Kingdom on the earth. Because He is our King and we are a remnant, those true worshippers that will live for and in Christ Jesus, in His Kingdom we function as sons of God, His partners, citizens, soldiers, a government and all those that walk in His authority.
His name and attributes describe and refer to His character. Yet Jesus/Yeshua is the One name that is above every name. When Moses asked for God’s name so he could go “to the Israelites and say to them, The God of your fathers has sent me to you,” the Lord replied and said to Moses, “I AM THAT I AM” (In Hebrew it is, ehyeh asher ehyeh), “you shall say this to the Israelites: I AM has sent me to you!” (Exodus 3:13-14 KJV and AMP). I AM means He is able to take care of anything you encounter. He is saying whatever you need, I AM. In addition, “wherever you see the I AM you know that He is speaking about something that He is determined to do, something very purposeful” (The One New Man Bible).
Furthermore, according to the Complete Jewish Bible by David H. Stern in Exodus 6:3, His name is Yud-Heh-Vav-Heh or as some would spell it, Yod-Hey-Vav-Hey (YHVH), is the name of God which the Jews do not speak. Because it is Holy the Jews substitute Adonay (Adonai) for the name of God which means Lord. Also, the English rendering of the Tetragrammaton, YHVH is either Yahweh or Yahveh or Jehovah.
