AUDREY DICKEY MINISTRIES
Glory International Center
"A Center for God's Presence"
Definition of faith: Acting on the Word of God. (When we move in the full authority of the Word of God, we can operate in great faith).
Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law; it says that He hung on the tree and became the substitute for our sins and transgressions so the blessing of Abraham might come on us and we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
During the ministry of Jesus, He would minister to people and say to them that the results of the ministry were according to their faith or He would attribute the manifestation of healing to the exercising of their faith. This calls for a powerful conclusion that the results we experience or don’t experience have much to do with the strength of our faith.
The promises of God were received by exercising faith. For every promise, principle and prophecy there is a faith process to bring it to pass. Faith is necessary to overcome the challenges of life. Our covenant with God is not an insurance policy against problems and challenges. However our covenant is a commitment from God that through the exercising of our faith we can overcome any hardship or problem we face.
I must maintain and manage my words to see that they are in agreement with what I believe. This is critical, to only speak what I believe and not just what I see. I must also maintain and manage my thought life in agreement with what I am confessing for it is critical. Words that are negative or sent from the enemy must be taken into captivity, 2 Cor. 10:4-5. Christianity is based on faith and trust in God.
Matthew 9:29
Then touched He their eyes, saying According to your faith be it unto you. (Not according to your education, nor your race, nor your religion, nor your connections in life), but according to your faith, trust, confidence and reliance [on the power invested in Me] be it done to you.
Romans: 1:17
For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. (If your faith cannot be tested it cannot be trusted).
James 2:26
For as the human body apart from the spirit is lifeless, so faith apart from [its] works of obedience is also dead.
Romans 10:17
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.
Colossians 1:16
For it was in Him that all things were created, in heaven and on earth, things seen and things unseen, whether thrones, dominions, rulers, or authorities; all things were created and exist through Him [by His service, intervention] and in and for Him.
Colossians 1:4 Amp
For we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus [the leaning of your entire human personality on Him in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness] and of the love which you [have and show] for all the saints (God’s consecrated ones).
Romans 4:20
No unbelief or distrust made him waver (doubtingly question) concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong and was empowered by faith as he gave praise and glory to God.
Hebrews 10:36-39
For you have need of steadfast patience and endurance, so that you may perform and fully accomplish the will of God, and thus receive and carry away [and enjoy to the full] what is promised…the just shall live by faith. My righteous servant shall live by his conviction respecting man’s relationship to God and divine things, and holy fervor born of faith and conjoined with it]; and if he draws back and shrinks in fear, My soul has no delight or pleasure in him. But our way is not that of those who draw back to eternal misery (perdition; eternal damnation; hell) and are utterly destroyed, but we are of those who believe [who cleave to and trust in and rely on God through Jesus Christ, the Messiah] and by faith preserve the soul.
Hebrews 11:1 AMP version
Now Faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].
Hebrews 11:6 AMP version
But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out].
Mark 11:22-26
…have faith in God [constantly]. Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! And does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him. For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it]. And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him and let it drop (leave it, let it go), in order that your Father Who is in heaven may also forgive you your [own] failings and shortcomings and let them drop. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your failings and shortcomings.
Mark 9:23
…all things can be (are possible) to him who believes.
Romans 12:3
I possess faith that gives me victory in every test.
Hebrews 4:2 Paraphrased
Faith without works yields no results. Faith without action is dead.
James 1:22
But be doers of the Word [obey the message], and not merely listeners to it, betraying yourselves [into deception by reasoning contrary to the Truth]. (If I think I am in faith and have no corresponding action then I am deceiving myself).
Romans 14:23
Whatever is not of faith is sin.
Romans 15:13
May God, the source of hope, fill me with all joy and peace by means of my faith in Him, so that my hope will continue to grow by the power of the Holy Spirit.
2 Corinthians 5:7
I live by faith, not by sight.
I Corinthians 2:5
My faith does not rest in the wisdom of men (human philosophy), but in the power of God.
Isaiah 1:19
If I am willing and obedient, I shall eat the good of the land.
Ephesians 3:12
Because of my faith in Him, I dare to have the boldness (courage and confidence) of free access (an unreserved approach to God with freedom and without fear).
Ephesians 6:16
I lift up over all the [covering] shield of saving faith, upon which I can quench all the flaming missiles of the wicked [one].
I Timothy 6:12
I fight the good fight of faith, laying hold of the eternal life to which I was summoned and [for which] I confessed the good confession [of faith] before many witnesses.
Hebrews 11:1-3
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses). For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
James 2:17
So also faith, if it does not have works (deeds and actions of obedience to back it up), by itself is destitute of power (inoperative, dead).
Hebrews 6: 12-14
In order that you may not grow disinterested and become [spiritual] sluggards, but imitators, behaving as do those who through faith (by their leaning of the entire personality on God in Christ in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness) and by practice of patient endurance and waiting are [now] inheriting the promises. For when God made [His] promise to Abraham, He swore by Himself, since He had no one greater by whom to swear, saying, Blessing I certainly will bless you and multiplying I will multiply you.
Job 36:11
If I obey and serve Him, I shall spend my days in prosperity and my years in pleasantness and joy.
