DECLARATIONS FOR THE MOUTH

Dr. Audrey L. Dickey, Los Angeles, CA

REGARDING THE MOUTH:        (Love people with your words, love covers faults)

I set my day with Godly positive words and release LIFE, FAITH and ANGELS.  I will not set my daily course with negative harsh words thus releasing death, fear or demons. (If I continue to speak the devils words he will come and take over).  I Declare the Blood of Jesus over my mouth and the mouths of my love ones.  Blessings and curses do not come out of the same mouth!  When I damn someone I am condemning him to hell and I give license for the devil to operate in my life or those whom were damned. If I use negative words I repent immediately, dig them up and place them under the Blood of Jesus so they won't take root and bring a harvest. My words will reflect His character, glorify Him and be a testimony to others.  Father God does not judge you (John 5:22); His Word judges you when you reject His Son and will not receive His Word (John 12:47-48). If you want the words you speak to have God’s power in them then your mouth must belong to Him.

Prov. 18:21

Death and life are in the power of my tongue. My words have creative ability, in the name of Jesus, I have what I say.  I release holy faith to bring things to pass in my life.

Rev. 2:16

…I will fight against them with the sword of My mouth.

Prov. 15:1

A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. Kindness flows from my mouth, turning away wrath.

Prov. 16:24      Pleasant words are as a honeycomb, sweet to the mind and healing to the body.  My gentle disposition & acts of goodness keeps strife out of my relationships.

Mt. 12:36-37

But I tell you, on the Day of Judgment men will have to give account for every idle (inoperative, nonworking) word they speak. For by your words you will be justified and acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned and sentenced.

James 3:9-10

With it we bless the Lord and Father, and with it we curse men who were made in God’s likeness! Out of the same mouth come forth blessing and cursing.  These things, my brethren, ought not to be so.

John 14:27

I will accept the Peace God left for me, His peace which was given to me not as the world gives it to me and I will not let my heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. (Allowing myself to be agitated and disturbed). I command the peace of God to be in my house now.

James 1:19

Understand [this], my beloved brethren.  Let every man be quick to hear [a ready listener]--- slow to speak, slow to take offense and to get angry.

I thank you Holy Spirit that I have the will, strength and desire to obey You because You purify my heart so I can allow the sincere love of God to flow through me. I Peter 1:22. I have purposed that my mouth shall not transgress. I have authority over my tongue everyday because of the blood and in the name of Jesus I will not curse, gossip, complain and I will keep my attitude in-check and no unholy anger will I express.  Holy Spirit please guard my tongue so that I may know how to answer all men. Death and life are in the power of my tongue and my words have creative ability, in the name of Jesus. I will have what I say. Kindness flows from my mouth now, turning away wrath. I will speak forth righteousness and praise God all the day long. I cover myself and family and all that concerns me with Your mercy, grace and favor.

Eph. 4:29-32
I will not slander others, depreciate, dishonor, blaspheme, curse, attack, gossip, backbite, judge, speak evil of and so forth.  Furthermore, I will let no corrupt communication (I will not let any unwholesome talk) proceed out of my mouth but that which is good to the use of edifying (but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen).  And I will not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, whereby I am sealed unto the day of redemption. I will get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander along with every form of malice (spite, resentment or hatred).  I choose to be kind and compassionate to others, forgiving others, just as in Christ God forgave me. Thank You Father that the Holy Spirit will continuously guard my mouth and tame my tongue, so that no corrupt communication will proceed out of my mouth but only that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers in Jesus name.

Mark 9:25

Regarding the wrong words coming out of my mouth, satan cannot come back in this area of my life. I refuse to operate in anything that does not glorify God. I no longer have use for corrupt language in my life. O Lord, open my lips, and my mouth shall show forth your praise (Ps. 51:15).

Isa. 6:7-8

The seraphim touched my mouth and said, Behold, this has touched your lips, your iniquity and guilt are taken away, and your sin is completely atoned for and forgiven.  And the voice of the Lord said, Whom shall I send?  And who will go for Us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.  Ro 10:14…How are the people to hear without a preacher? And how shall they [be expected to] preach unless they are sent? Ro 10:15 Anointed are sent.

Prov. 17:14

The beginning of strife is as when water first trickles [from a crack in a dam]; therefore I will stop contention before it becomes worse and quarreling breaks out.

Isa 55:11

So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

Jn 16: l; Ps 119:165; Ps 34:13

God’s Word empowers me to overcome offense.  I avoid the traps of bitterness and resentment, because I forgive others rather than nurse and rehearse what they have said or done to me. Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit.

Prov. 8:6-9

Hear, for I will speak excellent and princely things; and the opening of my lips shall be for right things. For my mouth shall utter truth, and wrongdoing is detestable loathsome to my lips. All the words of my mouth are righteous (upright and in right standing with God); there is nothing contrary to truth or crooked in them.  They are all plain to him who understands [and opens his heart], and right to those who find knowledge [and live by it].

Prov. 8:13

The reverent fear and worshipful awe of the Lord [includes] the hatred of evil; pride, arrogance, the evil way, and perverted and twisted speech I hate.

Prov. 10:11, 19

The mouth of the [uncompromisingly] righteous man is well of life; …restrain his lips is wise.

2 Tim 2:23

But Refuse (…have nothing to do with) trifling controversies over ignorant questions, for you know that they foster strife and breed quarrels.

Prov. 10:21

The lips of the [uncompromisingly] righteous feed and guide many, but fools die for want of understanding and heart.

Prov. 21:23

He who guards his mouth and his tongue keeps himself from troubles.

Prov. 10:31

The mouths of the righteous (those harmonious with God) bring forth skillful and godly Wisdom…

Mark 7:35

I no longer have a speech impediment (difficulty in speaking) I will now speak distinctly and as I should.

Ps 19:14

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord my Strength and my Redeemer.

Phil 2:14

I will do all things without grumbling and faultfinding and complaining [against God] and questioning and doubting [among ourselves].

Col 4:6

Let my speech at all times be gracious (pleasant and causing joy), seasoned [as it were] with salt, [so that I may never be at a loss] to know how I ought to answer anyone [who puts a question to me]. I do not speak to others in a harsh or disrespectful manner.

Prov. 31:26

She opens her mouth in skillful and godly Wisdom, and on her tongue is the law of Kindness [giving counsel and instruction].

Ps 51:10-12

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right, persevering, and steadfast spirit within me. v15 = O Lord, open my lips, and my mouth shall show forth Your praise.

Ps 34:13

Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit.

Ps 109:17-19

…He clothes himself also with cursing as with his garment, and it seeped into his inward [life] like water, and like oil into his bones.  (Cursing will make you ill).

Mt. 5:13-14

Because I exhibit goodness and gentleness, people are drawn to me.  I season the earth like salt seasons food.  My light shines bright and men see my good works. (salt=kindness).

Prov. 15:23

I align my words with God’s Words; therefore, joy is birthed in my life (Ps 19:8; and Jeremiah 15:16).

Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for      man’s anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires. Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.  Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says…v 25… not forgetting what you have heard, but doing it--- you will be blessed in what you do. (James 1:19-21)

In the name of Jesus, I make a quality decision to cultivate the fruit of goodness and gentleness by yielding to the Holy Spirit.  My submissive attitude enables Him to remove the abrasive qualities from my character and develop the character of God within me.  I do not grieve the Holy Spirit by being unkind. (Ephesians 4:30-32).

In the name of Jesus, I declare that I cultivate the fruit of meekness by giving the Word of God the highest priority in my life.  I find the “pause button” in order to contemplate a godly response. As a result, the Lord lifts me out … (Ps 147:6)

Value the presence of God and value the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Come up higher with your words, watch your mouth and not say all the things you would like to. Being able to say what you want is not more important than having the presence of God.

If anyone considers himself religious and yet does not keep a tight rein on his tongue, he deceives himself and his religion’s worthless.  (James 1:26-27)

Lam. 3:28-29 AMP basically says to keep your mouth closed and go through, you do not need to tell everyone about your problems.  Let him sit alone uncomplaining and keeping silent [in hope], because [God] has laid [the yoke] upon him [for his benefit]. In this world we will have trials and tribulations and how you go through will determine whether you are victorious or not.  John 16:33

Lord, I ask You to help me develop sensitivity to the Holy Spirit concerning all of my words and conversations.  During the storms of life, while I’m crossing over to the other side, I ask for Your grace (enablement) to limit my words or keep silent altogether.  Place a guard over my lips and let the words of my mouth be acceptable in Your sight and help me to not say anything that does not glorify You.  For You are my Rock, my Strength, and my Redeemer- in You do I put my trust.  I stand on Ps.19:14; Ps.141:3; Ps.17:3, in Jesus Name. Amen.

Per Joyce Meyer – No one is completely mature in the Lord, so there is always room for improvement.  If your mouth is out of control, other areas of your life will also be out of control.  Give your speech to God today.  Ask Him to direct the words you speak, and allow Him to fill your mouth with words of life that lift up everyone around you.  A gentle tongue [with its healing power] is a tree of life.  Prov. 15:4

Per Kenneth Hagin - Words make us or break us. Words heal us or make us sick. Words destroy us or make us full of life, happiness, and health. Words bless us or curse us. Learn to make words work for you. You fill your words with power when you fill your words with love and faith.

Your home atmosphere is a product of your words. Your children are a product of words. Spiritual as well as natural, physical things are created by words. Words are always in the air around you, one example of this is to turn on a radio and you’ll find that you can listen to words in the airwaves that were already there.  When the right tool was used it brought the words into a place where you could hear it with your physical ears. The same applies when you need to hear from God, if you are sensitive to the Holy Spirit you will be able to pick up words in the atmosphere or inside of you that are being spoken by the Spirit of God to you.

People who are spiritual and really have something live right at home and not just on Sunday’s in church. They do not have to be perfect but mature enough in the spirit to know that when they miss it they can repent, ask for forgiveness and forgive others to keep the atmosphere where it should be. Therefore, as they seek God, the Holy Spirit’s presence, because the right words have already been loosed into the atmosphere it will make it possible for His presence to come and dwell in their home.

…Whosoever shall SAY unto this mountain, be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he SAITH shall come to pass; he shall have WHATEVER he saith. He shall have whatsoever the WORDS – he speaks. Mark 11:23.

God does not want us to think or speak like the world does but be transformed by the renewing of our mind. Romans 12:2. Get your mind renewed with the Word of God; think in line with God’s Word; talk in line with God’s Word; believe in line with God’s Word.
