As we begin to approach the soon return of Jesus Christ, there is greater and greater need to know what the Bible TRULY says about the rapture of the Church. This resource will give you comfort to know the truth according to Scripture. It removes the confusion surrounding the rapture which is confirmation because God is not the author of confusion.
There are many popular theories regarding the Rapture. However, none has proved to be satisfactory for me, for the following reasons:
According to Hebrews 13:8, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.” Therefore, Jesus would not have a Rapture in the Old Testament, (Genesis 5:24, 2 Kings 2:11), and not in the New Testament as 2 Corinthians 12:2 and in the book of Revelation 4:2; 7:14; 14:14-16 attest to.
God is not the author of confusion, (1 Corinthians 14:33). Therefore, when we properly discern what the Word of God is saying, all scripture will agree and not be in opposition to other scripture causing strife and confusion.
Presently each theory or viewpoint leaves out scriptures pertaining to the rapture in order to make their viewpoint represent the soundest view.
The this is the only way it shall occur viewpoint promotes fear rather than to comfort us as scripture tells us in 1 Thessalonians 4:17-18.
It is not my purpose to disprove any of these views, but to intertwine them into one believable, logical and therefore probable view, not denying any scripture on the subject.
