PRAY FOR THE PEACE OF JERUSALEM

 Psalm 122:6-8 KJV Paraphrased

I pray for the PEACE (Sar Shalom - the Prince of Peace, Isaiah 9:6) of Jerusalem! May they prosper who love thee (Yeshua). Peace (wholeness) be within thy walls, and prosperity (security, safety, health, wealth and the Blessing) within thy palaces.  I receive prosperity because of my love for Yeshua and the Holy City. And I pray for God’s completion, God’s purposes to be fulfilled for the land and the people of Israel. For my brethren and companions’ sakes, I will now say, Peace (Shalom) be within thee, all the people of the land. I will also continue to pray for supernatural protection over the nation of Israel and for the Second Coming of Messiah. You are my King and my God Who favored them to gain possession of the land and Who decrees victories for Jacob/Israel, Jeremiah 30:3; Psalm 44:3-7; Amos 9:14-15. Israel shall be saved by the Lord with an everlasting salvation… Isaiah 45:17.  ...to the Jew first and also to the Greek, Romans 1:16.

Hebrews 5:8-9 AMP says, “Although He was a Son, He learned [active, special] obedience through what He suffered And, [His completed experience] making Him perfectly [equipped], He became the Author and Source of eternal salvation to all who give heed and obey Him.”

God Himself gave to His people signs in the Tanakh (Old Testament or Old Covenant) to recognize when the Messiah (the Christ, the Anointed One) would arrive, see Isaiah 7:14;

Isaiah  53:3-9; Daniel 7:13-14. In the book of Jeremiah 31:31-33 God announced He was making a New Covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah, also see Luke 22:20. God gave the  Brit Hadashah (New Testament or New Covenant) to His people. Also see, Matthew 1:18-23; Matthew 3:3; Matthew 16:21; Matthew 27:32-66; Matthew 28:1-7 and other passages in the New Covenant of the Holy Bible showing His arrival, preparation for the Cross, His death and Resurrection.

John 14:27 AMP, tells us, “Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid...”

Philippians 4:7 AMP says, "And God's peace [shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus."
