IT IS TIME TO EXPOSE THE LIE

AND COME BACK TO THE JEWISH PEOPLE

By Rabbi Jonathan Bernis

A Word of Encouragement to the Jews from Isaiah 54:7-15 Amplified Version:

"For a brief moment I forsook you, but with great compassion and mercy I will gather you [to Me] again. In a little burst of wrath I hid My face from you for a moment, but with age-enduring love and kindness I will have compassion and mercy on you, says the Lord, your Redeemer. For this is like the days of Noah to Me; as I swore that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth, so have I sworn that I will not be angry with you or rebuke you. For though the mountains should depart and the hills be shaken or removed, yet My love and kindness shall not depart from you, nor shall My covenant of peace and completeness be removed, says the Lord, Who has compassion on you. O you afflicted [city], storm-tossed and not comforted, behold, I will set your stones in fair colors [in antimony to enhance their brilliance] and lay your foundations with sapphires. And I will make your windows and pinnacles of [sparkling] agates or rubies, and your gates of [shining] carbuncles, and all your walls [of your enclosures] of precious stones. And all your [spiritual] children shall be disciples [taught by the Lord and obedient to His will], and great shall be the peace and undisturbed composure of your children. You shall establish yourself in righteousness (rightness, in conformity with God’s will and order): you shall be far from even the thought of oppression or destruction, for you shall not fear, and from terror, for it shall not come near you. Behold, they may gather together and stir up strife, but it is not from Me.  Whoever stirs up strife against you shall fall and surrender to you."

In the first century all Jews did not reject Jesus. Jesus divided the Jews, some followed and some rejected. According to Rabbi Jonathan Bernis, there is a different language that must be spoken about Jesus.
There is hatred against Jews in the name of Jesus and the falsehood is that the Jews have rejected Jesus but the reality is the Jews have not heard a message they can understand because of the difference in the language and meanings behind certain words.

            To A Jew:
When someone says “Jesus Christ” He is thought to be the son of Mr. and Mrs. Christ, the God of Christianity who hated the Jews.
When a Jewish person hears “Christ,” they hear the God of Christianity.
When they hear Church they think of the opposite of Synagogue.
When they hear convert they think leave your faith and become a follower of another faith.  THIS IS ALL UNBIBLICAL according to Rabbi Bernis.

            The Reality:
This is Yeshua haMashiach, Jesus the Messiah of Israel. Christ means Anointed One (in Greek it is pronounced Cristos) which comes from the Hebrew word Mashiach. Christ is the Anointed King of the Jews.
We are traveling over a sea of misunderstandings to reach a people who have been excluded from the Gospel for almost two thousand years of which they began on this earth.  Jesus and all twelve of His disciples were Jews, they were the ones spreading and teaching the people. The Disciples of Jesus were the first “Christians” and would probably be known today as “Messianic Jews.”
According to Matthew 28:11-15 it tells us the story of how the soldiers were bribed to lie and say that Yeshua’s body or Jesus’ body was stolen while they were asleep and this story has been current among the Jews to the present day. This is a part of the lies that have been circulated for hundreds of years to keep a people apart from Christians who are adopted into the family of the Israelites upon receiving Jesus who was a Jew as their Lord and Savior.
The family of God are the Jews and by the blood that was shed by Jesus for redemption all Jews or Gentiles who receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior became the “One New Man” and received eternal life. People do not stop being who they are, a Jew, an African, a Caucasian, a Spaniard, Chinese, Indian, or whatever their race may be because they acknowledge and receive what was done on the cross. Christianity is not a religion it is a “Way of Life” paid for by Jesus for “whosoever” will receive the free gift given by His Grace and received by faith (Romans 10:9-10).
It is time to come back to the Jewish People. It began with them and it is going to finish with them.
Jesus is not coming back until Jewish people cry out - “Blesseth is He Who Comes in the Name of the Lord.”
To all Christians – Israel is our land and the Jews are our people. Israel is the birth place of our faith. Let us all bless the Jewish people as God instructed us to and live long and strong and blessed.
