Romans 8:1-2 says, “Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.”
Condemnation condemns you as a PERSON while conviction condemns your BEHAVIOR. While condemnation leads to bondage, conviction on the other hand which results in confession, brings freedom and release.
Conviction is an opportunity to CHANGE and continue on, doing what is the right thing to do. The end result will be the fulfillment of your DESTINY.
Confession of sin and asking for forgiveness directly to God along with repentance are the KEYS to breaking sin’s power in your life. It will also aid in renewing your mind in God’s Word.
False Guilt = Is a lie but is more real guilt than true guilt. It is guilt that the devil exploits and guilt that God never sent.
True Guilt = Is guilt because of sin and when you are born-again/saved that sin goes into the sea of forgetfulness because your sin was removed nearly 2,000 years ago by a Loving Savior who paid the price for you at the cross.
Forgive yourself and receive the free gift of Forgiveness. If you keep guilt you work along side Satan to condemn yourself and you could run the risk of destroying your mental health. You are not receiving what God died to give you, the freedom from guilt and shame. Receive the gift and forgive yourself and be totally free from guilt and condemnation.
